Viometrix provides Embedded Sy stems Design Services & Consultancy, Business Consulting, Concept Engineering and International Standards liaison for emerging technologies and application verticals. Viometrix consults on turnkey design projects involving ASIC and FPGA devices, embedded and soft-core processors, firmware and application design, RTOS development and porting, and systems engineering. Viometrix also has expertise in biometrics, intelligent transport systems and ubiquitous computing. In these areas, experts at Viometrix participate on mirror committees of ISO in Singapore and on international special work groups, when needed. Viometrix also develops custom training for clients and provides in-depth technology representation and business development for companies looking to expand in the region.
Viometrix is a strong supporter of the T-Engine Project and is the only independent T-Engine consultant in Singapore. It directly supports the TE@Onghu website – one of the leading providers of T-Engine information in English. Viometrix is working with T-Engine Forum to develop the T-Engine Developer Network (TEDN) that will be a one-stop information site about T-Engine issues, allowing developers to share information, ask for support and to foster a developer community. TEDN will be launched in 2009 and will provide support to developers outside and within Japan. The site, managed within a Content Management System, will have HTML versions of the specifications, sample programs, reference code, commenting facility, events calendar and an open BBS for developers.
