In Sakamura-Koshizuka laboratory, Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, the University of Tokyo, we are studying fundamental and application technologies to establish ubiquitous computing environment.
The following is introduction of TRONSHOW 2009 demonstration.

●Ad-hoc network using Active tag

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is one of the ubiquitous computing technologies.
WSN has attracted worldwide attention in research community.
WSN is the technology that sensor nodes communicate each other, collect
environmental information, and send it to an information server. Computers use the information and provide a wide variety of useful services.
In the TRONSHOW exhibition, we will introduce our research activity using panels.
In addition, we will demonstrate ad-hoc sensor network using Active tag which is developed by YRP Ubiquitous Networking Laboratory.

●The introduction of Applied Computer Science Course

Applied Computer Science Course is a new course, established in 2006.
Our research interests include computer science, and computer network. Especially, analyzing digital data from many sensors and applying the results to real world are our main mission in this course.
We will introduce our course in the exhibition.
