Ryo Imura Ph.D is a Founder and President & CEO of Mu-Solutions company in Hitachi Ltd. established in 2001 to promote the world smallest RFID “Mu-chip”, and from 2004 an Executive Managing Director of Tracing & Tracking RFID Systems Division, and from 2007 a Global Business Director in Information & Telecommunication Systems Group and also Corporate Officer, Hitachi, Ltd.

At present he is an Executive Officer in Hitachi Information Systems, Ltd. Concurrent to his position with Hitachi and Hitachi Information Systems, he is a Professor, University of Tokyo and also a guest lecturer for MBA class students at Haas School of Business in UC Berkeley.
