The LAN91 series, adopted in various application with highly satisfaction by users, have been expected to meet for industrial temperature specification. SMSC responds to such requirement and modify the PHY part of its LAN91 series. As a result, meeting with the industrial temperature range, LAN9218I as well as normal temperature version LAN9218 are introduced to the market as a 10/100 Ethernet Controller with HP Auto-MDIX in order to correspond to customers needs. In this TRONSHOW2007, we introduce SMSC's product "LAN9218/LAN9218I" to support not only application for digital consumer electronics but also for severe environmental networking which requires high reliability. Other Ethernet products will be also introduced.
