■Preparation of Spatial Information Contents

Preparation of spatial data is essential to provide services related to location and position. At Pasco, we take images of all kinds of events occurring on the face of the earth both aerially and from space, and further use laser-measuring equipment installed on the ground to obtain greater precision. Using these state-of-the-art surveying technologies we prepare high-precision, high-quality spatial information. We offer everything from two-dimensional digital map contents prepared with standardized specifications for the whole country to digital aerial photographic contents and digital three-dimensional city models that provide a realistic rendition of the urban space. We will also start services using Spaceborne SAR Sensor: TerraSAR-X, launched in 2007.

■Management of ucode-tag and its position

In the ubiquitous computing environment that things and places around us are given IDs, it is significant to record positional and attribute data of each RFID tag, not only for managing tags but for providing solution services. We are developing the system to manage the position of ucode-tags with based our advanced skills at mapping, developing GIS applications and spatial databases. For the experiment of Tokyo Ubiquitous Technology Project in Ginza, we are suggesting the utilization of our GIS-based tag-location server for effective management of ucode-tags in the town.

■Development of ubiquitous solution service application

At Pasco, we are creating ubiquitous solution services based on our GIS and ucode. Specifically, we are developing systems to inspect and manage facilities such as park equipments, road, bridges, plants, traffic signs, etc, by placing ucode-tags on these, and retrieve related information from remote server. This is expected to improve the efficiency of public services greatly. Through the services fusing ucode, GIS and surveying technology, Pasco will create services for your secure life.
