(1)Introductory T-Engine/T-Kernel
You can find many T-Engines, T-Kernel, and various tools at the exhibition site for next-generation real-time operating system technology. We believe that those who are unfamiliar with embedded system would have questions such as “what are T-Engine and T-Kernel?” or “how are they used?”
At the Zagaku Café, the expert lecturers will give you clear explanations beginning with “what the embedded system is”.
□Details (plan)
- What is embedded system?
- What are T-Engine and T-Kernel?
- Clear explanation of the panels on exhibit at T-Engine showcase.
□ Intended audience
- Those who would like to know what T-Engine and T-Kernel are
- Those who are interested in embedded system development

(2)Let’s Try to Issue ucode
In this seminar, we will give you a basic idea of ubiquitous ID technology.
The ucode has already come into use all over Japan. As an infrastructure building to realize the ubiquitous computing, we are currently advancing approaches toward attaching ucode tags to objects and places in various locations including Ginza-Dori (Ginza street) and Ubiquitous Art Tour conducted at Tokyo Midtown.
Would you like to know how system is operated with ucode concretely?
At the Zagaku Café, you can experience usage of ucode by issuing and using the ucode practically.
□Details (plan)
- What is ubiquitous?
- Overview of ubiquitous ID technology
- Experience of ubiquitous ID technology
□Intended audience
- Those who are interested in ubiquitous ID technology
- Those who would like to know what ucode is and how it is used

(3)Introductory μT-Kernel Programming
In this seminar, you can learn how to use μT-Kernel as well as aboutμT-Kernel programming concretely.
μT-Kernel is a real-time OS which was designed to achieve high-performance even in the resource-saving environments such as a single-chip micro computer. μT-Kernel source code was released on March 2007, as T-Kernel for small-scale devices. We expect that μT-Kernel is adopted to home appliances such as an air conditioner as well as to relatively small-scale embedded devices such as an in-vehicle meter.
The μT-Kernel reference code is available for free by downloading from the T-Engine Forum Web site.
□Details (plan)
- Overview of μT-Kernel
- How to build an environment for μT-Kernel
- Let’s try a programming with μT-Kernel
□Intended audience
- Those who are interested in system development with real-time OS
- Those who would like to learn real-time OS and embedded system hereafter
* Lectures of similar content are also available at the following seminars.

(4)Introductory T-Kernel Standard Extension Programming
In this seminar, you can learn how to use T-Kernel Standard Extension (TKSE) as well as about TKSE programming concretely.
TKSE is among the extension programs that add various functions to T-Kernel. You can develop large-scale application development without difficulty by incorporating TKSE in T-Kernel.
TKSE has functions of process-based programming model support, memory protection, file system support, and virtual memory, etc. With these extension functions, developmental efficiency, reliability, portability, and serviceability for large-scaled applications including information terminals and digital appliances can be upgraded widely.
□Details (plan)
- Overview of TKSE
- How to build an environment for TKSE
- Let’s try a programming with TKSE
□Intended audience
- Those who are interested in high-performance embedded device development
- Those who would like to learn process-based programming.
* Lecture of similar content is also available at the following seminar.

(5)Let’s Try to Use Integrated Development Environment
In this seminar, you can learn how to develop T-Engine application with “Eclipse” as well as about T-Kernel SVC input development support tool for upgrading development efficiency. “Eclipse” is a high-profile integrated development environment in embedded system development industry. Features of “Eclipse” enable you to use wealth of functions for free and expand functions with various plug-ins. Efficient system development can be realized by intuitive operability with GUI and by target CPU-independent development environment.
□Details (plan)
- How to adopt “Eclipse” to T-Kernel development environment
- Let’s try to develop T-Engine application with “Eclipse”
- Let’s try to use T-Kernel SVC input support tool
□Intended audience
- Those who are interested in embedded system development with an integrated development environment
- Those who would like to use T-Kernel SVC input support tool
* Lecture of similar content is also available at the following seminar.
